- NYSIA has a longstanding and well-respected working relationship with all levels of the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board including the WCB’s Chair, General Counsel, and Executive Director. The WCB frequently requests NYSIA’s opinion on matters of concern in the workers’ compensation field.
- NYSIA is a member of the New York Business Council, the lobbying arm for businesses in New York State. As a member of its Workers’ Compensation Committee, the NYSIA has a prominent voice in all workers’ compensation initiatives.
